Junior MEGAN MURPHY of Rice becomes the second setter in Conference USA volleyball history to be named Setter of the Week three consecutive weeks. Murphy picks up her third award of the season after distributing a C-USA weekly best 12.19 assists per set and guiding the Owls to a C-USA weekly best team hitting percentage of.240. Jordan Clampitt of Tulsa is the other three-peat Setter of the Week honoree. Earning C-USA Offensive Player of the Week merits is CORI MARTONE of Tulane. She led the league with 5.83 points per set and 5.25 kills per set last week. In addition, she posted a pair of double-double while establishing a .310 attack percentage. After leading the conference with 5.93 digs per set and guiding Marshall to its third tournament title, DOROTHY RAHAL collects her first C-USA Defensive Player of the Week accolade. The junior was named MVP of the East Carolina Pirate Invitational.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
CORI MARTONE, TULANE / 6-0, JR., OH/MB / BATON ROUGE, LA.
Martone was named to the Kathy Trosclair Memorial All-Tournament team after leading the Green Wave with a C-USA weekly best 5.83 points and 5.25 kills per set. She also posted a pair of double-doubles while collecting a .310 attack percentage and 2.75 digs per set. Martone landed a career-high 30 kills against Binghamton after putting up 22 kills in the tournament opener versus UTEP. Her 22 kills against the Miners helped the Green Wave win their Conference USA opener. This is Martone's second career honor but first for the 2012 season.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
DOROTHY RAHAL, MARSHALL / 5-7, JR., L / VENICE, FLA.
Rahal averaged a C-USA weekly best 5.93 digs per set en route to guiding Marshall to its eight straight win, including a 4-0 performance last week. The Herd also won its third tournament title at the East Carolina Pirate Invitational last weekend where Rahal accounted for an impressive 6.09 digs per set which earned her MVP honors. She posted a career-high 30 digs in the team's C-USA opener against host ECU and had at least 15 digs in each of the other three matches. The award is the first of Rahal's career.
SETTER OF THE WEEK

For the third straight week, Murphy repeats as Setter of the Week by distributing 121 assists for a C-USA weekly best average of 12.10 per set. She also guided the Owls to a C-USA weekly best .240 hitting percentage. She posted two double-doubles last week with 50 assists and 12 digs against Houston Baptist followed by 47 assists and 10 digs against Texas Tech. Murphy currently leads C-USA in assists per set with an average of 11.19. This is Murphy's third straight and career weekly accolade.
