IRVING, Texas - Marshall knocked off Coastal Carolina 3-0 in the second match of the East Carolina Pirate Invitational in Greenville, N.C. to extend its win streak to seven matches. The Herd is 18-1 in sets for its past six matches and is looking for its third tournament championship title after winning its own Thunder Invite as well as the Kent State Mizuno Tournament.

Memphis opened the Tiger Invitational with victories over Illinois-Chicago (3-2) and Belmont (3-1).

SMU's Courtney Manning collected three blocks against Oklahoma to move into eighth place with 502 total career blocks on Conference USA's all-time blocks list.

UMBC 3, at East Carolina 1	Nicole Willis led ECU with 15 kills while Hannah Allgood and Kelly Derby each had 12.
#11 Florida State 3, at Houston 0	Katie Norris led Houston with a team best 12 kills and 12 digs.
Marshall 3, vs. Coastal Carolina 0	Katy Schad and Laura Der each posted double-doubles. Schad ended the match with 13 kills and a match high 20 digs. Der also landed 13 kills and had 11 digs.
at Memphis 3, Illinois-Chicago 2	Marija Jovanovic leads Tigers with 21 kill. Three Tigers record double-doubles.
at Memphis 3, Belmont 1	Altrese Hawkins was one of three Tigers with 10-or-more kills. Hawkins had match-high 17 while Marija Jovanovic had 14 and Lauren Hawkins added 10.
Cal State Northridge 3, at Rice 0	Nancy Cole had 12 kills on .500 hitting.
Rice 3, Houston Baptist 1	Rice had three players in double digits kills and four with 10-or-more digs. Laurie McNamara had a season- and match-best 21 kills and Daniela Arenas had a team-best 20 digs.
at Oklahoma 3, SMU 0	Maddie Lozano and Carolina Young each had a team high three kills.
Southern Miss 3, vs. Robert Morris 0	Senior Halie Ecker paced a balanced scoring attack with 16 kills followed by Lydia Bonner with 11 and Jasmine Crowell added nine.
#20 Dayton 3, Tulsa 0	Tyler Henderson topped the club with 12 kills.
vs. Bowling Green 3, UAB 1	Sam Serley led the team with 14 kills, followed by 11 from Kate Morrell and 10 from Ally Slaughter. Morrell added 10 digs for a double-double.
#14 Purdue 3, UAB 0	Sam Serley topped UAB in kills with six. Rachel Fairbanks posted a team-best 14 digs.
vs. Cincinnati 3, UCF 0	Ashley Gialenios landed a career-high 15 kills.
