Volleyball travels to Kansas State for a midweek match

TULSA,Okla. - The University of Tulsa volleyball team continues its road trip with a midweek match against Kansas State on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
TU has won six straight matches since losing the season opener to host Dayton, who was ranked No. 22. The Golden Hurricane won the Baylor Classic going 3-0 last weekend.
Erica Bohannon was named the MVP of the Baylor Classic and was named the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week.
Bohannon finished the week with 62 kills, 3.88 kills per set, a .387 hitting percentage, 13 digs and 63.5 points, 3.97 points per set.
During the Baylor Classic, Bohannon had 45 kills, 4.09 kills per set, a .463 hitting percentage, 12 digs and 46.5 points, 4.23 points per set.
Kansas State is undefeated in six matches this season. KSU is led by Kaitlynn Pelger with 2.54 kills per set, Katie Brand with 9.96 assists per set and Tristan McCarty with 3.10 digs per set.
The Golden Hurricane returns home to host the Golden Hurricane Classic on Friday and Saturday in the Donald W. Reynolds Center.
The tournament starts at 4 p.m. with Northern Colorado and Texas State on Friday, followed by Arkansas and Tulsa at 6:30 p.m.
Four matches will be played on Saturday as Northern Colorado and Arkansas starts at 10 a.m., followed by Texas State and Tulsa at noon. Arkansas and Texas State plays at 5 p.m., while Northern Colorado and Tulsa finishes the tournament at 7 p.m.
After the Golden Hurricane Classic, TU hosts Oklahoma in a midweek match on Tuesday, Sept. 17th at 7 p.m.
