  Middle Tennessee 3, at Southern Illinois 2

  Sophomore Tyler Richardson tallied a career-best 12 kills, while redshirt-junior Kendall Howard topped her previous high with 29 digs. Sophomore Chelsea Ross (17) and freshman Jale Hervey (15) also posted double-digit kill totals.
  at LATech 3, Arkansas-Pine Bluff 0

  Junior OH Rebecca Redgen led the Lady Techsters with 10 kills on 20 attempts with only two errors for a solid .400 clip. Junior Maria Coelho hit a .875 clip with seven kills on eight attempts without committing an error.
  at North Texas 3, UT-Arlington 1
[21-25,25-19,25-20,25-20]
  North Texas had four players with 10 or more kills led by sophomore OH Carnae Dillard's 17. Junior OH Hanna Forst added 13, senior OH Courtney Windham and R-sophomore OH Analisse Shannon had 11 and 10, respectively. Freshman S Amy Henard dished out 53 assists in the team's third win.
  Tulane 3, at Southeastern Louisiana 1
[21-25,25-14,25-12,25-11]
  Tulane pushed its early season record to 4-0 behind the offensive power of freshman Annie Shurtz and senior Cori Martone who each had 15 kills, while 10 was added by Tea Juric. Junior Grace Weaver nabbed a match-best 24 digs, while 45 assists came from senior Mel Mandelbaum.
  at Southern Miss 3, New Orleans 0
[25-12,25-15,25-19]
  USM hit .335 for the match and out blocked UNO, 8-1. The Golden Eagles held New Orleans to a mere .067. Junior OH Jasmine Crowell and freshman Stephany Purdue led Southern Miss with nine kills each. Crowell added three block assists, while junior Kristen Fleming accounted for team bests four block assists and 33 assists.
  at Tulsa 3, Oral Roberts 1
[25-14,25-9,23-25,21-25,16-14]
  Freshman Erica Bohannon and senior Kellie Culbertson led Tulsa with 17 and 16 kills, respectively, while junior Valerie El Houssine added 11. El Houssine (26), Culbertson (21) and freshman Brooke Berryhill (19) led the team in digs. Junior S Bailey Clampitt was one of three players that finished with a double-double as she had 39 assists and 13 digs.
