Tulsa senior Samantha Vickers and FIU sophomore Aleksandra Trifunovic have been named Conference USA's Co-Women's Tennis Athletes of the Month for November. They each produced an overall record of 3-0 for the month en route to winning individual singles titles at their respective tournaments. This is the first monthly award for the duo this season.

Vickers finished the fall season on a five-match winning streak. She won the Blue Draw at the Memphis Collegiate Invite by capturing all three matches as well as pairing up with Isaura Enrique to go 2-1 at the same Invite. Overall, Vickers recorded five wins at the Memphis Collegiate Invite that featured teams from UT-Chattanooga, Marquette and host Memphis.
ALEKSANDRA TRIFUNOVIC, FIU
SOPHOMORE | GOTHENBURG, SWEDEN | BARCELONA HIGH SCHOOL
Trifunovic went a perfect 3-0 at the FIU Invitational that featured teams from Liberty and Barry. She won the No. 2 singles draw championship after defeating Barry's Cristina Valladares, 6-3, 6-4. The native of Gothenburg, Sweden, breezed through the singles draw winning in straight-sets in each of her three matches. The victories improved the second-year Panther to 4-0 on the young season.
