Erofeeva, Vickers Earn ITA Regional Awards

Erofeeva was named the Senior of the Year, while Vickers garnered Player to Watch honors.
Erofeeva played at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles all season for the Golden Hurricane, and she ended the year with a 29-10 singles mark and a 26-11 doubles record.
She was also named to the All-Conference USA Singles First Team and Doubles Second Team. She owns school records with 107 doubles wins and 218 combined victories. She is also second all-time with 111 singles triumphs.
Erofeeva joins Alicia Pillay (2003) and Anousjka van Exel (1999) as the only players in school history to win the senior regional award.
Vickers compiled a 32-6 singles record this year playing at the second position, and she is third in school history for most wins in a single season. She owns a 23-10 doubles mark, and she was also named to the All-Conference USA Singles First Team.
Vickers joins Daniela Muscolino (2004), Pillay (2002) and van Exel (1998) as the only four players in Tulsa history to win the player to watch award.
Erofeeva is the No. 49-ranked singles player, and she is one half of the No. 68-ranked doubles tandem. She was selected to compete in the NCAA Singles Championship, which will be held May 22-27 at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Ga.
Vickers is the third alternate in the field and will await word if she will also receive a bid. She is ranked No. 64 in the nation in singles.
