SMU Divers Complete Final Day At Tennessee Diving Invitational On The Platform

KNOXVILLE. Tenn. (SMU)-SMU diving performed in the platform event on Monday, January 5 at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center in the Knoxville, Tennessee to polish off competition in the Tennessee Diving Invitational.

Of the women's program, sophomore Audra Egenolf, placed in the top five heading into the final dive, was narrowly edged out into sixth place with a score of 240.40. Egenolf averaged 5.73 points per dive on the platform.

SMU's sophomore diver Matthew Culbertson also competed on the platform in the men's event. Culbertson placed eleventh, scoring 240 total points in the event.

SMU men's and women's swimming and diving returns to action Tuesday night in head to head competition with the Georgia Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. in Joe Perkins Natatorium.
