IRVING, Texas – Forty Conference USA softball players were named NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes for the 2012 season, the organization announced. Houston led the league with 11 players represented, followed by Marshall with nine and Tulsa and UTEP with eight each. Student-athletes who earned a 3.50 grade point average or better during the 2011-12 academic year were named to the list.
