MEMPHIS - The University of Memphis softball team will host a free clinic for youth 12 and under (boys and girls) following the Tigers' Fall Blue/Gray game on Saturday, October 31. The free scrimmage will begin at 10 a.m. with the camp running from 12-1:30 p.m.

The clinic will be run by Memphis head coach Windy Thees, her staff and the Tiger softball team and will feature fun games as well as trick or treat stations after the camp.

The event will mark the final opportunity for fans to preview the 2010 softball team in action. The Tigers went 4-0 in its fall exhibition schedule. All four victories were shutouts, including a no-hitter against Alcorn State on October 3.

Memphis opens its 2010 season on February 12 at the Centenary Spring Tournament in Shreveport, La., against Wichita State.
