Tulsa’s Lacey Middlebrooks twirled a one-hitter and hit a three-run home run to lift the Golden Hurricane to the C-USA regular season title and the Championship’s top seed.

Marshall and UCF needed 10 innings to decide the third seed. Andi Williamson of Marshall and UCF’s Mackenzie Audas went pitch-for-pitch until the bottom of the 10th inning when the Thundering Herd’s Alysia Hively led off the inning with a walk-off home run.

Marshall’s three-game sweep of UCF earned it the No. 3 seed. UCF will be the No. 4 seed at the C-USA Championship, while Houston is the No. 5 seed.  Marshall, UCF and Houston all finished 15-9 in conference games. The league’s first three-team tiebreaking criterion –winning percentage of conference games amongst tied teams -- was used to determine seeding for the Championship.

East Carolina, Memphis and Southern Miss will enter the C-USA Championship as the No. 6, 7 and 8 seeds, respectively.
