IRVING, Texas - Just two games separate the top four teams in the Conference USA softball standings with two weeks to play in the regular season. Tulsa (14-4 C-USA) maintained its position at the top of the standings with a series win over Houston last week, while UAB sits a game back at 13-5 in league action. UCF and Houston both have a 12-6 conference record.

This week, Houston and UCF square off in a top four battle, with the winner gaining an advantage for seeding at the upcoming C-USA Softball Championship in Birmingham, Ala. Both teams have won seven of their last 10 games.

Six Conference USA schools are in the top 90 of the April 24 NCAA Ratings Percentage Index (RPI) report, with four teams in the top 45.

Seven leagues boast six top 90 teams: C-USA, the ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Pac 12 and SEC.

Only Conference USA, the ACC, Big 12, Big East, Pac 12 and SEC have four teams among the RPI top 45.
