LAST TIME OUT
Houston (14-7, 3-0) enters the series on a four-game winning streak coming off a thrilling 3-1 win over Purdue in the annual Pink Game. Fresh off being named C-USA Hitter of the Week for her performances last week, Holly Anderson helped lift Houston to the win with a two-run single with the bases loaded in the sixth inning to break up the tie. The senior has had two hits in the last five games (8-for-17) and has brought her average up 58 points to .413, second-best in the conference.

The Cougars swept Southern Miss to begin league action last weekend with 7-0, 5-3 and 10-2 (6) wins over the Golden Eagles. Houston now ranks second as a team in batting average (.279) with five Cougars (Holly Anderson, Haley Outon, Katie St. Pierre, Reina Gaber and Kayla Holland) ranking in top 20, the most of any team.

Preseason All-Conference selection Mackenzie Audas leads UCF in the pitching circle with a 6-7 record and 3.21 ERA.
