TULSA, Okla. - Tulsa junior shortstop Samantha Cobb went 10-for-12 (.833) at the plate with three home runs and seven RBI last weekend, and was named Conference USA Hitter of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

Cobb, a native of Garland, Texas, added six runs scored, an .846 on-base percentage and a 1.583 slugging percentage for the No. 24 Golden Hurricane (2-1) and was selected to the all-tournament team at the 26th Annual Louisiana Classics over the weekend. She reached base in her final 10 at-bats of the weekend, going 9-for-9 with five RBI, five runs and two homers during that stretch.

In game one Saturday at No. 23 ULL, Cobb went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and stole a base.
