MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Aimee Creger pitched a two-hit shutout and Jill Barrett, Shelby Blanton and Lacey Middlebrooks combined to account for nine runs on seven hits, to lead the Tulsa softball team to 7-0 win at Memphis Sunday afternoon at the Tiger Softball Complex.

The Golden Hurricane cinched its third Conference USA sweep of the season and improved to 27-9 overall and 10-2 in league play. Creger improved to 14-1 on the season, striking out 10 batters while allowing four walks and a pair of singles.

TU scored one run in each of the first three innings, then added one run in the fifth and sixth before capping the scoring with two more runs in the top of the seventh. Barrett went 3-for-4 and scored three times, Blanton went 2-for-2 with two RBI and two runs, and Middlebrooks was 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored to lead the Hurricane.
