Marshall wraps its season with a 7-11-1 mark. After 90 scoreless minutes, ECU posted three shots on goal during extra time before Gratz sent the game-winner to the left side of the box in the 94th minute when she received a pass from fellow senior Caty Butler, beat two defenders and sent a shot towards the left post just inside the box. It was her sixth career game-winning strike and third of the season. Butler picked up her eighth career assist and third of the year. Junior Christiane Cordero was stellar one again in goal stopping five shots and recorded her league-leading 10th shutout of the season, which tied former Pirate keeper Amber Campbell for the most clean sheets in a season.

The Tigers earned their second goal of the night when Taylor Isenhower dribbled the ball at the top of the box and slid a pass to the right side to Kaitlyn Atkins. Atkins juked to the right and back to the left and drew the goalkeeper out of the net before putting away the goal. With the goal, Atkins has four on the season while Isenhower was credited with her sixth assist. Memphis struck its third goal with a rebound goal by Sarah Daane. Atkins served the corner from the left side and Marissa Duguay bounced a header off the crossbar. Daane quickly gathered the ball off the crossbar and put away the goal for her third of the season.
