The C-USA preseason Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year each earned their respective weekly honor in the second week of conference play. Memphis junior Christabel Oduro scored two goals and was credited with three assists as the Tigers defeated East Carolina and Marshall. UCF junior Marissa Diggs commanded a defense that posted two shutouts and allowed just nine shots in matches against Houston and Rice.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
CHRISTABEL ODURO, MEMPHIS
Junior, F/MF, L'lle-Bizard, Quebec

Oduro scored two goals and added three assists over the weekend to post seven points in wins over East Carolina and Marshall. Oduro notched the game-winning goal in the 2-0 victory against ECU Friday. It was Oduro's seventh goal of the season and her second game-winner. Sunday against Marshall, Oduro notched three assists while adding her eighth goal. Oduro assisted on the first two goals and then added another on the Tigers' fifth of seven in a 7-1 win. Oduro registered the goal in the 39th minute to give Memphis a 3-0 lead five minutes before the half. With seven points on the weekend, Oduro moved into sole possession of fifth place all-time with 74 points in her career. She also tied Shoko Mikami for fourth place all-time with 28 career goals. This is the first C-USA Offensive Player of the Week honor for Oduro this season and fourth of her career.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MARISSA DIGGS, UCF
Junior, D, Rowlett, Texas

At centerback, Diggs commanded a defense that locked up two shutouts over the weekend, bringing the season total to a conference-best seven. She played all 180 minutes to lead a defensive charge that limited UCF's opponents to just nine shots and five corners combined. Diggs also helped limit Rice to just two shots and two corners in 90 minutes as the Knights snapped the Owls' league-best unbeaten streak and delivered Rice's first conference loss of the season. This is her first career Defensive Player of the Week honor.
