• Colorado College extended its undefeated streak to five games (3-0-2) with a 2-0 shutout of in-state foe Northern Colorado Thursday night. Freshman MF Madison Whitehead (Highland Village, Texas) struck for the game-winner (and her first collegiate goal) early in the second half, one-timing Brittney Lyman's (Arvada, Colo.) crossing attempt from deep on the right side. Senior F Tiffany Brown (Sterling, Va.) added an insurance tally at the 67:22 mark for her team-best fourth goal of the season. Junior GK Caitlin Hulyo (Lititz, Pa.) finished with six saves while posting her fourth shutout of the season and 14th of her career.
• UTEP sophomore MF Tess Hall (Anaheim, Calif.) registered a hat trick to lead the onslaught for the Miners in a 6-1 win over Lamar Friday. Junior Katie Dorman (El Paso, Texas) and sophomore Brittany Kindzierski (Edmonton, Alberta) also got in on the fun. Dorman tallied two goals and an assist, while Kindzierski had one goal.
• SMU junior F Logan May (Coppell, Texas) netted the golden goal, her second consecutive game-winner, as the Mustangs defeated North Texas, 3-2, in overtime Friday. May scored in the 95th minute, while sophomore forwards Ryanne Lewis (Sachse, Texas) and Shelby Hartweck (Grapevine, Texas) scored in regulation.
• Katie Jackson's (Satellite Beach, Fla.) first-half goal allowed UCF a 1-1 tie against host Arizona Friday at the Cats Classic Presented by Loews Ventana Canyon Resort.
