Conference USA women's soccer teams posted a 7-3 record on Friday night. East Carolina, Memphis, UCF and UTEP registered shutout victories. Tulsa defeated Missouri State, 2-1, in overtime. Marshall defeated Saint Francis (Pa.), 2-1, in a match played at Cabell Midland High School, while Houston earned a 2-1 decision on the road at Louisiana-Monroe.

C-USA WOMEN'S SOCCER SHOOTING STARS
- No. UCF improved to 4-1-0 by shutting out Dartmouth, 2-0, in the first round of the UCF Tournament. The Knights secured their third shutout of the year and goalkeepers Lianne Maldonado and Connie Organ keep their cool in the net with a combined seven saves to clinch the win. UCF took a 1-0 lead in the eighth minute when Jennifer Martin connected with Andrea Rodrigues in the midfield. Rodrigues sent a pass to an awaiting Nicolette Radovcic in front of Dartmouth's net as she scored her third goal of the season and second-consecutive game-winner. Ashley Nicol scored on a free kick for her second goal of the season and a 2-0 Knight edge.
- Behind five points from freshman F Tine Schryvers and three points by Madison Oyer, Memphis downed Arkansas State, 4-0.
- Junior F Claire Nicholson netted the game-winning goal in the 102nd minute to give Tulsa a 2-1 win over Missouri State in double overtime Friday. Stephanie Aitken scored her third goal of the season with just 6:10 off the clock. Jordan O'Brien crossed the ball to the right side and then Aitken ricocheted it in off the far post.
- Juniors Azia Nicholson and Jade Babcock (87:13) each scored, and the defense did the rest in the UTEP soccer team's 2-0 conquest of Southern Utah at the UC Riverside Invitational Friday evening. The Minersoutshot the Thunderbirds (0-3), 19-11, including 8-1 in shots on goal, on the way to extending their winning streak to three.
- Marshall F Chelsey Maiden scored the game-winner in the 83rd minute after assisting one from fellow senior Sarah Vinson in the 14th as the Herd defeated Saint Francis (Pa.), 2-1. GK Lindsey Kerns made five saves for the match, none finer that the denial of two-time Northeastern Conference Player of the Year Tesa McKibben's would-be tying goal in the final minute.
- Colorado College sophomore F Jessie Ayers scored in the 83rd minute to lift the Tigers to a 2-2 tie against visiting Utah Thursday afternoon. Ayers collected a pass from sophomore F Jaclyn Silsby in the middle of the box and slipped the ball past the goalkeeper at the right post. Silsby scored the other Tiger goal of the match, her first of the season and the first time she had a goal and assist in the same game. Colorado College improved to 1-0-3 and remained undefeated after four games for the first time since the 2008 squad began the year with a 6-0-1 record. This is the first time in program history that CC has tied three consecutive games and gone to overtime in three of their first four contests to begin a season.
