Opening weekend of the C-USA women's soccer season is in the books and more great action is scheduled for this week, including a pair of contests against future C-USA members and a showdown between top 10 opponents.

A couple of midweek games are on the slate for Wednesday as East Carolina and UTEP will play their home openers. The Pirates will welcome future C-USA foe Old Dominion for a 7 p.m. EDT match. The Miners are coming back from a road trip to Utah, where they split a pair of contests. UTEP will host Texas State for a 7 p.m. MDT match that will open the 13th annual Border Shootout. The Miners will welcome Army on Sunday to close out the tournament.

Six matches are scheduled for Friday night. UCF, who cracked the NSCAA Top 10 at No. 9, will host No. 3 Florida State for the Knights' home opener at 7 p.m. EDT. SMU will also play its home opener against Oral Roberts. That match starts at 6 p.m. CDT. Tulsa is the other team at home as the Golden Hurricane hosts perennial power Notre Dame for a 7:35 p.m. CDT contest.

Southern Miss starts off the Friday action with an 11 a.m. CDT match against future C-USA member Louisiana Tech. Rice visits LSU at 7 p.m. CDT and Colorado College is on the road to play in-state foe Northern Colorado.

In addition to UTEP's tournament, nine additional matches are slated for Sunday. No. 9 UCF will host Miami at 1 p.m. ET, while SMU welcomes Arkansas to Westcott Field for a 7 p.m. CT nightcap. UAB hosts Alabama for its home opener at 1 p.m. CT, while Tulsa is the final team playing at home against Nicholls State.

Five teams are on the road, starting with Marshall visiting Ohio. East Carolina is at Notre Dame, Houston stays in-state for a match at North Texas, Southern Miss is at Southeastern Louisiana and Rice travels to McNeese State.
