Trio of Knights to Play for US Youth Soccer National Championship

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Noel Crane, Allie Gerry and Tyler Law of the UCF women's soccer program have advanced to the US Youth Soccer National Championship with their Clay County Soccer Club's Sol U-19 team. The trio will contend for the title Sunday in Rock Hill, S.C. The Sol played to a 1-1 tie with Massachusetts' Scorpions' Elite on Wednesday before dropping a 2-1 decision to Missouri's St. Louis Scott Gallagher on Thursday. The team then rebounded with a 2-1 win against California's So Cal Blues Dodge on Friday to meet Scorpions' Elite in the championship on Sunday at 9 a.m. Crane, Gerry and Law helped the Clay County Soccer Club win the FYSA U19 State Cup and the Region III Championship in June. Crane and Gerry are entering their redshirt freshman campaigns with the Knights, while Law will be a sophomore.
