Tulsa, Oklahoma - The University of Tulsa women's soccer team concluded the spring season undefeated, posting an 8-0-2 mark.

The Golden Hurricane scored a total of 27 goals, averaging 2.7 goals per game, and allowed just one goal in the first 10 minutes of the season. TU also held its opponents scoreless for over 14-straight hours of competition.

"We had a very successful spring season," Head Coach Kyle Cussen said. "The team did a great job of not only playing solid team defense, but in scoring goals. After graduating 10 seniors, I think the spring season was vital for such a young team. The team has really taken steps forward and is playing to win. Winning is a habit and I think we began that this spring, and hopefully we can carry our winning mentality into the fall."

TU topped Incarnate Word (2-0), Stephen F. Austin (2-0), Central Oklahoma (4-0), Oral Roberts (1-0), Southwest Baptist (5-0), John Brown (5-0), Benedictine (3-0) and William Jewell (4-0), and tied Oklahoma (1-1) and Oklahoma State (0-0).
