Rowing - 5/1/2012 May 1 Conference USA Boat of the WeekThe Oklahoma Varsity Eight closed the 2012 Spring season undefeated as the Sooners recorded a time of 6:53.58 to beat Texas (6:54.03), Kansas State (7:09.35) and Kansas (7:13.90) in the first Big 12 Championships. The crew consisted of coxswain Carly Schueler, Nicole Bladow, Ivy Brown, Rebecca Staff, Brooke Sheppard, Kristin Clift, Nikki Furmanek, Kellie O'Reilly and Meghan Farrell.
