Conference USA picked up three wins Saturday as Marshall, Tulsa and UTEP were victories. Marshall (5-4) earned a 70-66 win against Southern Illinois in the SIU Arena. This marked the first road victory of the year. Tulsa (3-5) earned it's third-straight victory with 58-43 win over Colorado State at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. UTEP (8-1) pushed its winning streak to three with a 71-34 win over Eastern New Mexico at the Don Haskins Center. The Miners never trailed in the contest, led the Division II Zias by 25 at the break (43-18) and were up by at least 30 for the final six minutes of action. Houston (4-6) had its eight-point halftime lead vanish as Creighton connected on 10 of its 15 3-pointers in the final 20 minutes in a 75-54 loss at Hofheinz Pavilion.
