IRVING, Texas - Conference USA picked up three wins Saturday as Marshall, Tulsa and UTEP were victories. Marshall (5-4) earned a 70-66 win against Southern Illinois in the SIU Arena. This marked the first road victory of the year. Tulsa (3-5) earned it's third-straight victory with 58-43 win over Colorado State at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. UTEP (8-1) pushed its winning streak to three with a 71-34 win over Eastern New Mexico at the Don Haskins Center. The Miners never trailed in the contest, led the Division II Zias by 25 at the break (43-18) and were up by at least 30 for the final six minutes of action. Houston (4-6) had its eight-point halftime lead vanish as Creighton connected on 10 of its 15 3-pointers in the final 20 minutes in a 75-54 loss at Hofheinz Pavilion.

 Saturday, Dec. 8  Highlights
 Marshall 70, at Southern Illinois 66  Forwards Chukwuka Ezeigbo and Veronica Ruiz scored career-high 17 points each. Ezeigbo went 5-for-12 in the field and was 7-of-9 from the free throw line. Ruiz went 6-of-11 from the field and was 5-of-6 from the free throw stripe.
 Creighton 75, at Houston 66  Te'onna Campbell had her first-career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
 at Tulsa 58, Colorado State 43  Kelsee Grovey had a team-best 16 points, while Taleya Mayberry added 11 points and a team-leading seven assists. Tiffani Couisnard pulled down 12 rebounds.
 at UTEP 71, Eastern New Mexico 34  Freshman Irene Gari scored 14 points for the second straight game while sophomore Chrishauna Parker added 11.
