Nov. 16 Women's Basketball Notebook
Women's hoop is in action every night this week.

- This week features a packed Conference USA women's basketball schedule. At least one team will be in action over the next five days, including four on Tuesday and Wednesday night. The week is topped off with six games on Saturday.

C-USA Women's Basketball Notebook

East Carolina will host UNC Wilmington on Friday, while Houston travels to New Mexico State Saturday. Marshall returns home after competing in the Lancer Classic to host USC Upstate Wednesday. After picking up a home win Monday night, Memphis takes to road to face Big 10 foe Indiana on Thursday and Ohio University on Saturday.

Rice will host two games this week. The Owls welcome Stephen F. Austin to town on Wednesday, followed by hosting No. 8 Texas A&M on Saturday.

SMU has a tough game Wednesday night as the Mustangs drive to Fort Worth to take on No. 23 TCU. SMU then makes a quick trip to San Antonio to challenge UTSA on Sunday.

Southern Miss and Tulane will each play a home and away game over the next six days. USM travels to South Alabama Tuesday and will host New Orleans on Sunday. The Green Wave is at home Tuesday against Mississippi State, before traveling to Nacogdoches, Texas, to face Stephen F. Austin Saturday.

Tulsa's lone game of the week is Tuesday night against cross-town rival ORU. Playing its second straight home game on Tuesday is UAB. The Blazers host Jackson State, before playing its first road game Saturday at Louisiana-Lafayette.

UCF continues its Preseason WNIT action as the Knights are set to face Iona on Friday, Nov. 19 as part of the consolation bracket. UCF will play either James Madison or Saint Francis (PA) 24-hours later.

UTEP is in the midst of opening the year with seven straight home contests, which equals the longest homestand in program history. The Miners will host New Mexico State on Wednesday and Eastern New Mexico on Saturday.
