IRVING, Texas - Home teams had a very successful Sunday in Conference USA women's basketball action as five of the six were victories. Tulane was the lone program to go on the road and pick up a win, as the Green Wave collected a 10-point victory at Marshall, 67-57. Sophomore guard Danielle Blagg set the second-best C-USA single game record with eight made 3-pointers. She ended the game with a career-high 26 points.

Rice edged Tulsa, 56-53, behind junior Jessica Kuster's ninth double-double of the season with a game-best 18 points and 12 rebounds.

UAB forced Houston into 19 turnovers as the Blazers won 54-46. SMU junior transfer Korina Baker scored a career-high 17 points, en route to hitting five 3-pointers, as the Mustangs defeated UCF, 69-54.

UTEP was hot in the second half as the Miners scored 54 second half points to earn an 81-66 victory over East Carolina. All five UTEP starters contributed 10-or-more points.

Memphis closed Sunday's action with a 63-57 win over Southern Miss on FSN. The Golden Eagles rallied back from a 19-point deficit to cut the Tigers lead to just one point midway through the second half.

 Tulane 67, at Marshall 57  Sophomore G Danielle Blagg scored a career-high 26 points on the strength of an 8-for-13 performance from behind the 3-point arc for Tulane (12-3, 1-1). Bragg's eight made 3-pointers ties for the second most for a C-USA single game (overall and league action).
Sophomore G Shay Weaver and freshman G Norrisha Victrum led Marshall (6-9, 0-2) with 18 and 16 points, respectively, while sophomore F Chukwuka Ezeigbo led all players with a game-high 13 rebounds.
 at Rice 56, Tulsa 53  Junior F Jessica Kuster recorded her C-USA leading ninth double-double with a game-best 18 points and 12 rebounds. Sophomore F Christal Porter produced her first career DD finishing with 11 points and 15 for the Owls (9-6, 1-1).
Senior G Taleya Mayberry scored a team-leading 17 points, while freshman G Kelsee Grovey added 12. Senior F Tiffani Couisnard pulled down a career-high 17 rebounds for TU (5-10, 0-2).
 at UAB 54, Houston 46  Junior F Ashley Grimes scored 16 second-half points and senior G Amber Jones added 14 point. UAB (11-4, 2-0) forced 19 Houston turnovers.
Senior G Porsche Landry and junior transfer Marissa Ashton scored a respective 16 and 14 points, while junior F Yasmeen Thompson posted career highs of 18 rebounds and five blocks for Houston (7-8, 1-1).
 at SMU 69, UCF 54  Junior transfer Korina Baker scored a career-high 17 points, going 5-of-7 on 3-point attempts, to lead SMU (11-4, 2-0). Baker was one of four Mustangs to score at least 10 points (Hives-McCray/12; Filmore/11; Wilkins/10).
Senior G Gevenia Carter led UCF (6-10, 0-2) with 19 points, followed by junior F Erika Jones' 10.
 at UTEP 81, East Carolina 66  UTEP starting lineup registered 10 or more points lead by junior F Kayla Thornton's 21 points and senior F Anete Steinberga's 19. Sophomore G Kelli Willingham added 15 points and Irene Gari and Chrishauna Parker each added 12 points. The Miners scored 54 second half points.
Senior F Britny Edwards produced her sixth double-double of the season with 13 points and 10 boards. Celeste Stewart (12), Whitny Edwards (12) and Kyani White (11) also scored in double digits for ECU (11-4, 1-1).
 at Memphis 63, Southern Miss 57  A pair of freshman led Memphis (10-6, 1-1) as Ariel Hearn scored a team-best 17 points, followed by Asianna Fuqua-Bey's 14 points and game-best 11 rebounds for her first caree double-double.
Senior G Tanecka Carey scored a game-high 21 points while freshman G Jerontay Clemons added 15 for Southern Miss (9-6, 1-1).
