IRVING, Texas – SMU defender Diogo de Almeida has been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Scholar-Athlete All-America first team, as announced by the organization. de Almeida was joined on the All-America team by UAB goalkeeper Carl Wosczcynski, who earned third-team honors. Additionally, Memphis’ Parker Duncan was selected as a Scholar All-South Region first team member and SMU’s Adam Still was named honorable mention all-region. 2011 NSCAA Men's Collegiate Scholar All-America Team
