IRVING, Texas - Charlotte sweeps the final Conference USA weekly awards for 2013 as Klay Davis repeats as Defensive Player of the Week with a four-save shutout, and teammate Kyle Parker claims Offensive Player of the Week honors with a two-goal performance.

Parker extended his goal-scoring streak to four games with a pair of tallies in Charlotte's 3-0 win at FIU on Friday. His first score came in the 11th minute, connecting on a cross by Tyler Gibson. Parker collected his second of the match by burying a rebound in the 43rd minute. The sophomore has netted seven goals in the past four games, leading the 49ers on a five-game winning streak heading into the Men's Soccer Championship. Parker also boasts a team- and career-best 11 goals and 25 points on the season. This is Parker's second Offensive Player of the Week award this season (Oct. 28) and his career.

Davis posted a four-save shutout against FIU on Friday to repeat as Defensive Player of the Week. The senior has not allowed a goal in nearly 285 minutes of play, good for three consecutive shutouts. The clean sheet was Davis' seventh of the season and fourth in the past five games. This is Davis' fourth Defensive Player of the Week award this season (Sept. 3, Oct. 7, Nov. 5) and his career.
