IRVING, Texas – Tulsa received two goals from C-USA Offensive Player of the Week Cristian Mata and won its third straight match with a 2-0 win over No. 12 Creighton Tuesday in Tulsa, Okla. Mark Pais turned away five shots to record the shutout. Kentucky kept rolling, winning its fourth straight with a 5-1 win against IPFW. The Wildcats fired 24 shots with 10 on goal including two goals from both Tyler Riggs and Gabriel Conelian.
C-USA teams improved to 39-20-10 (.638) during non-conference play and to 18-6-4 (.714) in road non-conference matches. Eight C-USA teams currently are riding unbeaten streaks. Six of those streaks are at least three matches and four of the streaks are at least four matches long.

Cristian Mata put two into the back of the net to give Tulsa a 2-0 win over No. 12 Creighton Tuesday night at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. TU moved to 6-3 on the season, while the Bluejays fell to 5-3-1 overall. This was TU's second win on the year over a ranked opponent as the Hurricane earned a 2-1 win over No. 3 New Mexico August 31. Kentucky 5, at IPFW 1
Senior Gabriel Conelian and junior Tyler Riggs each tallied a pair of goals to lead the Kentucky men’s soccer team to an explosive 5-1 win at IPFW on a chilly Tuesday night at Hefner Soccer Field.
Kentucky (5-4-0) totaled five goals for the 14th time in program history, using two goals from each Conelian and Riggs and the fifth goal of the year from senior Matt Lodge.
