C-USA MEN'S SOCCER SHOOTING STARS
- Freshman Quentin Albrecht netted two goals, including the game-winner in double overtime, to secure a 3-2 FIU (2-2-1) victory over the Stetson Hatters (2-2-0) Saturday afternoon at the FIU Soccer Stadium in Miami, Fla.
- The Panthers went into the half down 2-1 but responded when freshman Colby Burdette corralled a rebound off the keeper and buried it into the back of the net for his second goal of the season in the 49th minute.
- Two minutes into double overtime in the 102nd minute, Albrecht broke the tie and netted the game-winner into the lower left corner of the net past a diving Andreas Schnabl to secure the victory. Senior Nicholas Chase started the scoring opportunity with a long ball to Burdette who passed it to Albrecht for the go-ahead goal.
