Four Ranked in NSCAA Preseason Men's Soccer Poll

IRVING, Texas - Four Conference USA men's soccer programs have been recognized in the NSCAA/Continental Tire Preseason Top 25 as announced today by the association. SMU and UAB will begin the season ranked No. 16 and No. 21, respectively, while UCF and South Carolina are among others receiving votes.

Conference USA teams return 34 all-conference players, including six first team selections, eight second and third team choices and all 13 members of the all-freshman team to a league that earned four bids to the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive season. The C-USA preseason poll will be released Aug. 8.

The C-USA men's soccer season kicks off Friday, Aug. 24. The C-USA Championship will be hosted by UAB, Nov. 7-11 at Regions Park in Hoover, Ala.
