Tulsa, Okla. - Tulsa's Dominic Cervi was named as an alternate for the U.S. Men's Soccer Olympic Team, as announced by head coach Peter Nowak. Only two goalkeepers make the final 18-member roster, while Cervi will travel with the team to the Olympics as an alternate.

A goalkeeper from Norman, Okla., Cervi helped the Golden Hurricane post a 15-3-2 overall record in 2007, as well as win the Conference USA regular season and tournament titles, and advance to the NCAA Tournament.

Cervi played in 56 career games, posted 10 career shutouts, logged 4,846:49 minutes in goal and owned a career 1.35 goals-against average. He tallied six shutouts in his senior campaign and logged a career-best 1.11 GAA as he registered 81 saves and gave up just 21 goals in 1,710:01 minutes. Cervi was named a C-USA first team selection and earned all-tournament team honors, and was also named to the NSCAA all-Midwest Region second team as a senior.
