IRVING, Texas -

Memphis senior Kathleen Glavin is this week's Conference USA Women's Golfer of the Week after she took individual medalist honors at the UAB Fall Beach Bash and the Tigers won their third-straight event title. UAB freshman Paul Dunne is the C-USA Men's Golfer of the Week after a runner-up finish at the Hummingbird Intercollegiate, shooting five-under par during the 36-hole event.

C-USA Men’s Golfer of the Week - Paul Dunne, UAB, Fr., Dublin, Ireland
Dunne closed play in second place overall to lead the No. 19 UAB men's golf team to a runner-up finish at the 36-hole Hummingbird Intercollegiate, held in Cashier, N.C. Dunne played the best golf in a tournament in his young career. The Dublin, Ireland native closed the final round with a career-best 18-hole score of five-under par 65 on the par 71, 6,767-yard Country Club of Sapphire Valley course. Following his first round even par 71, Dunne closed tournament play with a 36-hole career low mark of 137, nine strokes better than his previous best mark of 146 set earlier this year at the Saint Mary's Intercollegiate. He was two strokes behind the individual medalist. Dunne has been a big reason why the Blazers closed out the fall campaign with a record of 59-7 over their five tournaments played (UAB captured the Sam Hall Invitational, while also recording three second-place finishes and a fifth-place result). This is Dunne's first career Golfer of the Week honor.

Women’s Golfer of the Week - Kathleen Glavin, Memphis, Sr., Dayton, Ohio
Glavin finished two strokes ahead of the field at the UAB Fall Beach Bash to claim individual medalist honors.  She fired a career-best 72 in the first round, concluded competition on Tuesday by shooting a 76 in her final 18 holes of play, leading the Lady Tigers to their third consecutive UAB Fall Beach Blast title. The award is Glavin's first career C-USA honor.
