IRVING, Texas - A record seven Conference USA men's golf teams have been selected to the 2012 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship, as announced Monday night by the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Committee. Memphis, the 2012 C-USA team champion, is joined by East Carolina, Houston, Tulsa, SMU, UAB and UCF in the Regional field, along with UTEP's Martin Simonsen, who was selected as an individual.
Memphis will compete at The Club at Olde Stone in Bowling Green, Ky. This is the second consecutive season the Tigers have earned a berth into the NCAA Regionals and are a No. 7 seed this year.
