The all-academic team for men's golf consists of five student-athletes that have earned a 3.2 cumulative grade point average or better and played in 60 percent or more of their team's rounds this season.

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane placed three senior members from its roster - Mitch Cohlmia, Sam Korbe and Brett Myers - on the All-Academic squad. The trio are all two-time selections to the Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Honor and all three earned C-USA Golfer of the Week honors during the 2006-07 season. The Springdale, Ark. native won the Oklahoma Intercollegiate back in October and has six Top 20 finishes, including four in the Top 5, this season. A bio-chemistry major, Korbe has maintained a 3.76 GPA.

Myers also won C-USA Golfer of the Week honors twice during the season. Another Tulsa native, Myers posted 14 career Top 20 finishes during his career, with six Top 15 finishes this season.

UTEP senior Colby Lindsey has compiled a 3.86 GPA in biology. He has four Top 20 finishes this season, including a 10th place showing during his last outing at the Ping Golf Cougar Classic. A native of Abbotsford, British Columbia, Lindsey has the second-lowest stroke average on the team at 73.03.

This season, Benjamin was named the C-USA Golfer of the Week on April 10 after picking up medalist honors at the Palisades Collegiate Classic. A native of Rockford, Ill., he holds the team's lowest stroke average of 74.00 following six tournaments this season.
