Family-oriented sports restaurant chain Beef O'Brady's continues its title sponsorship of the fifth annual Beef O'Brady's Bowl St. Petersburg Bowl this December….Conference USA has participated in each of the first four St. Petersburg Bowls. Last season, Marshall defeated future C-USA member FIU, 20-10….In 2010, former C-USA member Louisville knocked off Southern Miss, 31-28. In 2009, UCF brought more than 20,000 fans to watch the Knights play Rutgers….Memphis faced South Florida in the inaugural game in 2008….This season, the C-USA representative will be scheduled to play an opponent from the Big East Conference at Tropicana Field in downtown St. Petersburg. The 2012 Beef O'Brady's Bowl St. Petersburg Bowl will be played on a Friday evening for the first time, with ESPN televising a 7:30 p.m. EST kickoff on December 21….The Beef O'Brady's Bowl St. Petersburg Bowl is one of six postseason games that take place in the Sunshine State….The bowl is owned and operated by ESPN.
