C-USA Announces Football All-Academic Team FB All-Academic

IRVING, Texas - Two graduate students, four seniors, four juniors and three sophomore football players have been named to the 2012 Conference USA All-Academic Team, as selected by the league's Sports Information Directors. East Carolina, Southern Miss and Tulane each had two players recognized, including Pirate defensive lineman Matt Milner who is making his third appearance.
In all, 11 C-USA schools are represented on the academic team. The all-academic team consists of student-athletes who have earned a 3.2 cumulative grade point average or better and are a starter or key reserve on their team.
West Division champion Tulsa will host the 2012 Conference USA Football Championship Game against East Division champion UCF Saturday, Dec. 1, at H.A. Chapman Stadium. The 2012 C-USA Championship Game will be televised live on ESPN 2, beginning at noon EST/11 a.m. CST.
