Larry Porter to Guest Host The Gary Parrish Show July 7 at 4 p.m.

MEMPHIS, TENN. - Head coach Larry Porter will guest host the Gary Parrish Show with Geoff Calkins on 92.9 FM ESPN/680 AM ESPN from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, as announced by Entercom Memphis on Tuesday.

Throughout the two-hour program, fans will have the opportunity to call in at (901) 535-ESPN to chat about anything and everything related to sports. The show will feature special guests and one-on-one interaction with the Memphis head coach.

Larry Porter is entering his second season as head football coach at his alma mater. The Jackson, Miss., native was a four-year stellar running back for the U of M from 1990-93, and served as a co-captain his senior season. He closed out his career with 2,194 yards and 20 rushing touchdowns, ranking him seventh in school history in yardage and tied for fifth in touchdowns.

Coach Porter will serve as a stand-in for Gary Parrish, who is covering basketball recruiting on the road with Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo throughout the month of July.
