HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- The Marshall-UAB football kickoff time has been moved to noon on Nov. 9 by CSS, which will be televising the Conference USA matchup for the fifth straight season. The game is scheduled at Joan C. Edwards Stadium, the fifth of six Herd home dates this season.

All six Marshall home game kickoff times have been announced. The Aug. 31 season opener against Miami of Ohio is at 7 p.m., with the Sept. 7 Gardner-Webb game on MU Hall of Fame Weekend at 6:30 p.m. The Herd entertains UTSA on Oct. 5 at 2 p.m., Southern Miss on Nov. 2 at 12:30 p.m., UAB on Nov. 9 at noon, and East Carolina on Nov. 29 – the Friday after Thanksgiving – at noon.

The Thundering Herd roughed up UAB 59-14 in 2011 on the Blazers’ last trip to Joan C. Edwards Stadium, as Marshall raced to a 38-0 halftime lead. The Herd has never lost to UAB at home, pulling out two one-score decisions in 2005 (20-19) and 2007 (46-39), while knocking off the Blazers 27-7 in 2009.
