FOX College Sports has announced that it will televise 10 Conference USA football games this fall. The FCS schedule includes seven league games and will involve 12 current C-USA schools, as well as two future league members.
Conference USA Commissioner Britton Banowsky announced today that the conference has secured an agreement with the 2013 Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman benefiting the USO. C-USA will provide a team to face an opponent from the Atlantic Coast Conference in the Washington, D.C.-based bowl. This year's game will be played at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Md., on Friday, December 27 at 2:30 p.m. ET and televised by ESPN.
ESPN Regional Television and the Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl St. Petersburg announced the 2013 game will be played Monday, Dec. 23, at 2 p.m. ET at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg. The game will air on ESPN and features a Conference USA team against a school from the American Athletic Conference (formerly the Big East Conference).
Conference USA has announced its preliminary television schedule for the 2013 football season. The current confirmed schedule features more than 50 games to air nationally or regionally, with additional games to be added prior to beginning of the season. National games will be televised on Fox Sports Net (FSN), CBS Sports Network and ESPN. Included are several unopposed windows that provide tremendous exposure to C-USA, as well as numerous exciting league match-ups, and many challenging non-conference contests.
