East Carolina and Tulsa improved to 3-0 on the season, while Marshall and Tulane also earned victories as C-USA men's basketball teams were a perfect 4-0 Friday. East Carolina senior G Miguel Paul made his season debut by pouring in 24 points in a 76-73 win over UNC Greensboro. Tulsa had another outstanding performance from a freshman as D'Andre Wright scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to help TU beat host San Diego. Marshall also won on the road as the Herd made an 18-0 run to pull away from District of Columbia to win 80-58. MU senior Dennis Tinnon registered his 13th career double-double, as did Tulane junior Josh Davis. The Green Wave defeated Nebraska-Omaha, 76-52, in front of a young and vocal crowd at Devlin Fieldhouse. Fans sparked senior Jordan Callahan to a career-best 27 points in the win.

C-USA MEN'S BASKETBALL SHOOTING STARS
- East Carolina senior PG Miguel Paul (Winter Haven, Fla.) made his season debut and scored a game-high 24 points as the Pirates defeated UNC Greensboro,76-73. Classmate Maurice Kemp (Miami, Fla.) registered a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Junior G Akeem Richmond added 16 points off the bench.
- Tulane senior G Jordan Callahan (Marietta, Ga.) tallied a career-high 27 points in a 76-52 Green Wave victory over Nebraska Omaha in a rare Friday afternoon game in front of 2,637 at Devlin Fieldhouse. Tulane held the annual "School Day at Tulane" where local schools brought their students to the game on a fieldtrip. Callahan scored 16 of his career-best 27 in the second half and connected on a career-high tying six 3-pointers, including four in the final 20 minutes.
- Junior Josh Davis (Raleigh, N.C.) registered 17 points and 11 rebounds his first double-double of the season and the 13th of his career. Sophomore F Tre Drye (Baton Rouge, La.) pulled down a career-high tying 10 rebounds to go with eight points
- With the victory, the Green Wave moved to 2-0 in the Joe Cipriano Nebraska Classic and will host Chicago State at 1 p.m. CT on Sunday as part of the classic before traveling to Lincoln, Neb., to face the Cornhuskers on Wednesday to conclude the four game event.
- An 18-0 run helped the Marshall defeat the University of the District of Columbia, 80-58, in the second game of the 2K Sports Classic benefiting Wounded Warrior Project. The Herd will play South Dakota State Saturday and host Hofstra Sunday to wrap up the Classic.
- Senior F Dennis Tinnon (Green Bay, Wis.), coming off the bench for the first time in his career, scored a game-high 17 points and 12 rebounds. It was his first double-double of the season and the 13th of his career. Senior C Nigel Spikes (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) joined Tinnon with game-high rebounding honors, grabbing 12 to go with eight points and tied a career-high with four blocked shots. Junior G DeAndre Kane (Pittsbuurgh, Pa.) finished with 16 points, nine assists and five rebounds. Junior Elijah Pittman (Covington, Ky.), who made his first start of his career, scored a season-best 14 points on 5-of-5 shooting from the field including one three-pointer.
- Tulsa freshman F D'Andre Wright (Lawton, Okla.) recorded his first career double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds off the bench in a 63-51 win over host San Diego in the NUCDF Basketball Challenge Friday. Sophomore F Rashad Smith (Plano, Texas) and reigning C-USA Freshman of the Week James Woodard (Edmond, Okla. Chipped in 12 points apiece. Tulsa opened the second half on a 12-4 run to pull ahead and outrebounded San Diego, 39-26.
