Three televised games are on the slate for C-USA men's basketball Thursday. FSN features a national doubleheader starting at 7 p.m. CST when Southern Miss visits Georgia as part of the Legends Classic. Following that game, No. 12 Arizona hosts UTEP at 9 p.m. CST. Fox Sports Southwest will air the SMU at TCU contest in the 7 p.m. slot. In the other game of the night, Tulsa opens competition on the three-day NUCDF Tournament in San Diego. The Golden Hurricane faces Northern Kentucky Thursday.
Tulsa resumes action Friday as it faces host San Diego in a game that will be regionally-televised on FSN San Diego. Tulane squares off with Nebraska-Omaha for a 12:30 p.m. CST tip-off as part of the Joe Cipriano Nebraska Classic. Marshall continues its play in the 2K Sports Classic benefitting Wounded Warrior Project, and East Carolina hosts in-state rival UNC Greensboro.
Tournament action continues for Marshall and Tulsa Saturday, while No. 16 Memphis plays its first game as part of the 2012 Battle 4 Atlantis by hosting Samford. Houston is the only other team at home, as the Cougars welcome Grambling State to Hofheinz Pavilion for a 7 p.m. tip CT. Rice travels to Philadelphia to face Temple, while SMU has a shorter trip to play at Texas State. Both of those games also start at 7 p.m.
Four Sunday matinees are also on the schedule, starting at 1 p.m. CT with Tulane hosting Chicago State and UCF welcoming Savannah State. Marshall concludes the 2K Sports Classic befitting Wounded Warrior Project with a 3 p.m. ET tip against host Hofstra. UAB hosts Navy for a 3 p.m. CT contest in the first game of four in the 2012 South Padre Island Tournament.
