BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - UAB head coach Jerod Haase welcomed a pair of special guests on Wednesday afternoon at his boys basketball camp. Former North Carolina basketball standouts Sean May and Marvin Williams spoke and answered questions from the nearly 90 campers in attendance at Bartow Arena.

The duo flew into Birmingham at approximately 10 a.m. and stayed throughout the afternoon. In addition to talking to the campers, they also walked around and gave individual instruction and demonstrations.

"This is a great opportunity and I am humbled that these two guys took the time out of their busy schedules to come and talk to these kids (Wednesday)," Haase said. "To me, it speaks volumes about the type of men both Sean and Marvin are off the court. I am excited to welcome them to UAB."

The Jerod Haase boys basketball camp will welcome another special guest next week in former North Carolina standout Tyler Hansbrough. Spots are still open for that camp, which is set to run June 11-14.
