Marshall Hosts UCF Saturday at 2 p.m.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall hosts UCF in men's basketball for the final time in Conference USA play on Saturday at 2 p.m.
The game between the Thundering Herd (9-12, 2-4 C-USA) and the Knights (15-5, 5-1 C-USA) will be televised on CSS as well as state-wide on WCHS.
Marshall is coming off a 68-57 loss to SMU on Wednesday. Even with the home loss, Marshall has had great success at the Cam Henderson Center with a 14-5 record under third-year head coach Tom Herrion in conference games played there.
Marshall has been led in scoring this season by DeAndre Kane (14.9), Elijah Pittman (14.5) and D.D. Scarver (13.7). Kane, who is 10th in C-USA in scoring, ranks first in assists (6.9), second in assists/turnover ratio (1.90), second in minutes played (36.12) and tied for third in steals (1.82).
Dennis Tinnon is coming off a 17 rebound performance on Wednesday and is averaging 9.2 per game, which ranks fourth in the conference.
UCF has won four straight games and nine of its last 11 including a 58-50 win at Tulane on Wednesday. The Knights are led by Preseason C-USA Player of the Year Keith Clanton who averages a team-best 16.2 points and 9.4 rebounds per game.
UCF's Kasey Wilson shoots 55.1 percent from three-point range, a number that ranks second in the NCAA.
Marshall leads the all-time series 8-6 including a 6-1 record in games in Huntington.
