SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas (AP) -

Jordan Swing recorded a double-double for UAB (3-2) with 18 points and 11 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to knock off the undefeated Redbirds.

Bryant Allen scored 30 points for Illinois St. on 9-of-15 shooting, which included six made 3-pointers, and the Illinois State defense forced 27 turnovers to stay perfect on the season and prevail 77-65 over UAB on Friday night.

Rod Rucker was 7 of 11 from the field for 14 points and had three rebounds and two assists. Robert Williams had seven points and nine rebounds for the Blazers.
