Rice became the first Conference USA team to sweep a league series, taking three games from cross-town rival Houston. Memphis, Tulane and UAB each won two-of-three games on the road in conference action, defeating Marshall, East Carolina and UCF, respectively. Memphis, Rice, Tulane and UAB are now tied atop the league standings with 4-2 C-USA records.
