UTEP's Okagbare Named C-USA Co-Female Athlete of the Week
Okagbare has won C-USA Athlete of the Week honors twice during the outdoor season.

UTEP sophomore Blessing Okagbare was chosen the Conference USA Co-Female Track and Field Athlete of the Week on Tuesday, sharing the honor with Memphis thrower Susan King.

A Nigeria native, Okagbare achieved a mark of 13.81m (45-03.75") to win the triple jump competition at the UTEP Invitational on Saturday. Okagbare's mark is the best in the NCAA this season.

It is the second time Okagbare has been recognized during the outdoor season; she was also honored as C-USA Female Athlete of the Week on April 1.
