IRVING, Texas - Tulsa junior Julian Frazier and UCF freshman Octavious Freeman have been named the Conference USA Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week. Frazier won the 400 meters at the Iowa State Open with a personal-best time of 47.60 seconds. Freeman clocked an NCAA automatic qualifying time of 7.23 seconds in the women's 60-meter dash that is currently the fastest time in the nation.

Frazier won the 400m at the Iowa State Open with a personal-best time of 47.60. His time was the third-best in school history and the 15th-fastest mark in the NCAA this year. Frazier also competed in the 200m and posted another personal best, finishing sixth in a time of 21.88. This is his first career weekly indoor honor.

Freeman repeats as Athlete of the Week as she bettered the nation's fastest time in the women's 60-meter dash with a NCAA automatic qualifying time of 7.23 at the Auburn Indoor Invitational. It has been the only qualifying time set in the event so far this season. Freeman also placed sixth in the 200 meters at Auburn, with a personal record 23.77 seconds to register the 14th-fastest time in the country.
