DALLAS – Marshall sophomore Paige Banton gets the Swimmer of the Week nod following a strong performance in the Herd's dual meet against Ohio. Banton finished in the top-three in one relay event and three individual events to earn the weekly honor. There were no Diver of the Week nominees this week. All weekly awards are presented by Surf & Turf Golf.

Banton capped off a great meet against Ohio with a first-place finish in the 200 Breaststroke (2:21.11). The Thundering Herd sophomore swimmer also posted a second-place mark in the 100 Breaststroke (1:05.46) and a third-place mark in the Individual Medley (2:11.48). Banton was also a member of the 200 Medley Relay team, which placed third at the meet.
