DALLAS – Two Florida Atlantic student-athletes earn our first weekly swimming and diving awards of the season after their battle against Florida over the weekend. Freshman Riley Trout is named Swimmer of the Week after two second-place finishes in the 200 IM and 200 back. Junior diver Alicia Mora gets the Diver of the Week honor following her second-place finish in the three-meter dive. All C-USA weekly awards are presented by Surf & Turf Golf.
 
SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Riley Trout, Florida Atlantic, Fr., York, Pa.
Riley Trout placed second in the 200 back (2:05.77) as well as second in the 200 IM (2:11.64) in FAU’s defeat against Florida. She also swam to a fourth-place finish in the 100 back, touching the wall at 59.15 and was a member of the 200 medley relay squad that placed fifth (1:49.23).

DIVER OF THE WEEK
Alicia Mora, Florida Atlantic, Jr., Madrid, Spain
Mora took second place in the three-meter dive with a score of 294.60 in FAU's defeat against Florida. The junior diver also placed third in the one-meter dive with a score of 286.27.
