Responsibilities: The Director of Compliance assumes the day-to-day responsibility of ensuring that all athletics operations are in compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations. Duties include, but not limited to, monitoring initial and continuing eligibility, amateurism, recruiting, playing and practice seasons, and financial aid; maintaining a compliance webpage and athletics compliance manual; coordinating the completion NCAA compliance-related forms for squad eligibility; acts as an official representative of the University at institutional, conference and NCAA meetings. Responsible for maintaining a comprehensive educational program, including rules interpretations, for student-athletes, coaches, staff members, booster groups and the University community.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree required with minimum of two years experience in compliance, preferably at a Division I NCAA institution. Must effectively work with students and University personnel and have a thorough knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Experience using Compliance Assistant internet (CAi) preferred. Must be able to multitask. Strong interpersonal, organizational, written and oral skills required. Must be computer proficient.
Salary range: $34,000 -$40,000
